Foreign Credentials
Credential evaluation refers to assessing and providing an equivalency report of your educational credentials according to Canadian standards.
Normally, employers, academic institutions, professional licensing bodies and apprenticeship training programs require an evaluation report from those who have international education.
Since the schooling requirements vary from country to country, credential evaluation helps Canadian employers and schools to understand the exact level of your knowledge.
There are a number of agencies who provide evaluation of international academic credentials for a fee in Ontario.
It is important to consult your hiring organization or school first to make sure that they recognize the assessment completed by the given agency before having it done.
